Hello from the Thyngs Developers!

We have been a little quiet the last couple of weeks, but nevertheless we have been making big progress with our system!

New ID card layout

With the new release, we added a new layout to use for your printed ID cards. After creating a page using the ID card template you can use the card generator page, on which you can now choose from either the social layout (displaying your contact details) or the company layout (displaying a short description about your company) along with a contact number should the card be lost.

Here is a small preview of the new card design, we hope you like it. Let us know of any further improvements you would like to have

 Cash Donations and Gift Aid

 A couple of updates previously we added the ability to add Gift Aid to contactless donations through our donation pages.

But after doing this we thought, what about cash donations? In this release, we have created a template that can your visitors can use to specify the amount of cash they donated and add Gift Aid to it. At the moment the template is still undergoing testing and isn’t public, but we will post an announcement when it is!

Charts

We have also updated how the Charts you find in reports display on mobile devices ( ie ipads, phones and other tablets). You should find that now they are much more responsive, and allow you to share them via app notifications with confidence.

Assignment to Existing projects and pages

One of the less noticeable but no less significant changes we made this release was to give more flexibility to how you can assign your new thyngs and kits.

We updated the thyngs assignment page to allow you to select an existing project to assign your new objects to.

Furthermore, the kit wizard will also allow you to assign your new Kit to the existing projects and pages.
